NCS Community Room Reservation
The Neighborhood & Community Services (NCS) Community Room is available for use by local organizations and community groups for non-profit meetings and activities. The space accommodates up to 50 people and provides a convenient location for neighborhood, civic, and educational gatherings.
Who Can Use the Community Room
Eligible groups include:
- Neighborhood or community organizations
- Civic organizations
- Government agencies
- Social clubs with educational or cultural purposes
The room cannot be used for profit-making activities or private events, such as birthdays, weddings, reunions, or graduation parties.
Room Features
The Community Room includes:
- Seating for up to 50 people
- 14 rectangular tables
- Handicap-accessible entrance and restrooms
- Kitchen access
- Guest City Wi-Fi
- Projection screen and podium
- Wireless handheld and lapel microphones
- VGA and HDMI connections for presentations
- Kitchen access
Hours and Availability
- Available 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Not available on City-recognized holidays or holiday weekends
- Applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance and no more than 30 days before the requested date
- Reservations are processed first-come, first-served
Rental Fees
- $10 per hour
- $30 half-day (4 hours)
- $60 full day (8 hours)
- $50 refundable cleanup/damage deposit
Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received. Rental fees are non-refundable unless the reservation is cancelled by the City.
Important Rules
- No alcohol, illegal substances, or smoking inside the facility
- Renters must provide their own supplies (tablecloths, decorations, paper goods, etc.)
- Set-up and clean-up must occur during the reserved time
- No tape, nails, or candles are permitted
- The responsible renter (age 18+) must be present for the entire reservation
- Groups must comply with all city, state, and federal laws and policies
Additional permits, insurance, or licensing may be required depending on the activity.
