Our vision is to provide a wide range of park and recreational services that are balanced and inclusive for all residents and visitors. These services will encourage community health through the provision of welcoming parks, facilities, and programs, including athletics, that are clean, safe, and consistent in delivery. Services and facilities will be enhanced through collaboration and investment for a future that connects the community and embraces the City's diversity, both in terms of its residents and its resources.

Bowling Green Parks and Recreation's Learn to Swim registration for June & July sessions is June 9-10 & June 30-July 1 from 4 pm-6 pm at Russell Sims Aquatic Center. Participants need to be dressed for a water skill evaluation. Need more info. call 270-393-3549.

Russell Sims Aquatic Center opens for the 2021 season Sunday, May 30 with limited capacity. Operating Hours are Sunday-Friday, Noon-6 pm and Saturday, 11 am-6 pm. Hours are subject to change during the 2021 season.

Fairview Cemetery Staff begins their Annual Cleanup March 1. Cleanup activity continues thru the mowing/mulching season. Any items in the way of grave maintenance along with worn, faded flowers and trinkets will be removed. For more information contact 270-393-3607.
