Our vision is to provide a wide range of park and recreational services that are balanced and inclusive for all residents and visitors. These services will encourage community health through the provision of welcoming parks, facilities, and programs, including athletics, that are clean, safe, and consistent in delivery. Services and facilities will be enhanced through collaboration and investment for a future that connects the community and embraces the City's diversity, both in terms of its residents and its resources.

Bowling Green Parks & Recreation has a new league-Westside Baseball. This is for youth ages 9-14 interested in learning the game of baseball regardless of skill-set. Registration is online or on-site at Pedigo Park.

Registration for the Learn to Swim Program will be held May 31 and June 1 from 4 pm-6 pm at Russell Sims Aquatic Center. Participants will need to be dressed to get in the pool at the time of registration for a skills assessment test.

BGPR Fitness is offering a FREE outdoor workout! Starting Monday, May 16 (weather permitting) come check out the Outdoor Air Fitness Zone at Preston Miller Park for Fitness Under the Sun from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. If you need more info. contact 270-393-3582.

Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is accepting 2022 shelter reservations for dates ranging from NOW-October 31. Reserve your shelter online or in-person at the Parks Admin Office located at 225 East Third Avenue.
