Summary: All lanes of the Bypass will be closed from Broadway Avenue to East 10th Avenue, Monday, Sept. 26 through Friday, Sept. 30 and again on Monday, Oct. 3 through Friday, Oct. 7.

Summary: Parker-Bennett Community Center is hosting an All Black Affair (Sneaker Edition), November 12 at 7 p.m. It's a great night to dress in all black, fresh sneakers and have fun with friends. The event will be held at One Roof Event Space, 400 East Main. Tickets are online for purchase.

Summary: The City of Bowling Green has received additional state funding in order to assist property owners with additional tornado damage-related tree stump/debris removal and/or tree replacement. Requests are being accepted online from the "Report a Problem" link on the City's website.

Summary: Today, Bowling Green officials worked to raise the awareness of suicide prevention. In addition to our elected officials, many people who work in the mental health field attended a proclamation reading for Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month.

Summary: During a groundbreaking ceremony today for electric car battery plant Envision, Governor Andy Beshear presented a ceremonial check the city to help pay for a new fire station at the Kentucky Transpark. Fire Chief Justin Brooks, along with several members of BGFD, attended the ceremony.

Summary: Beginning Monday, Aug. 29, the section of Middle Bridge Road between Pedigo Way and Ken Bale Blvd. will be closed to traffic while contractors install a section of the storm system related to the Shive Lane/Ken Bale Blvd. Corridor Improvements project.

Summary: Launched by the City on July 15, Fountain Row is the name of the Entertainment Destination Center in Downtown BGKY. In Kentucky, a City may hold an “Entertainment Destination Center” license allowing carrying of alcohol in public spaces in approved cups within set boundaries and times.
