City celebrates graduates of Academy for New Americans

Summary: The City of Bowling Green will host a graduation ceremony on Friday, June 14 at 12 p.m. for the 29 graduates from its sixth cohort of the Academy for New Americans, making it the largest graduating class to date.
Storm debris pickup begins today

Summary: All vegetative debris should be placed near the curb for pick up. Do not park a car or in any way place the debris behind or near something that will block access to it. Inaccessible debris will not be picked up.
Governor announces $223M investment in affordable housing with 635 units in Bowling Green and Warren County

BGFD seeks lateral transfers

City donates recovered Southern Queen Hotel’s historic Shake Rag items to WKU Special Collections Library

Summary: The City donated an extensive collection of historic Shake Rag artifacts from the Southern Queen Hotel to the Western Kentucky University Special Collections Library last week. Almost 800 items were recovered last summer during the process of stabilizing the property to save it for restoration.
International students visit City Hall
