Purpose of the program: To provide financial support to businesses, developers, tenants, and property owners investing in projects that enhance infrastructure, aesthetics, amenities, and the overall sense of place in Downtown. By offering matching funds to supplement costs, this stimulates private investment, talent attraction and retention, tourism, and improves quality of life.

How to apply for funds: There are many ways to apply for Downtown Improvements Grant Matching Funds. Please choose your preferred method and get started today. Applications are available via three ways:

3. print paper form available at our offices Submit your completed application via email at telia.butler@bgky.org or drop off at Neighborhood and Community Services located at 707 E. Main Avenue in the lower level reception area, Monday thru Friday from 8am - 4pm

Recognition and Outreach: Recipients will be recognized at a City Commission meeting. Awarded projects will be featured on City and Downtown websites, social media, and communications.
