Code Description:
1.) ZO Article 3, Section 3.2.1 – Site Work Permit and Building Permit. A complete application for a Building Permit shall be submitted to the Building Inspector of the appropriate agency, along with the appropriate review and inspection fee. Upon determination that the proposed development is in compliance with all requirements, including but not limited to this Ordinance and the adopted building code, the Building Inspector shall issue a building permit. The existing accessory structures (Freight Containers) requires an approved building permit.

2.) ZO Article 4.6.8, Section J.6. – General Commercial Development Standards – Accessory Structure Standards. 6. Accessory buildings/structures shall not include mobile home, bus, travel trailer, RV, trailer, cooler, vehicle or freight container. Freight containers may be permitted for outdoor storage use in the HB zoning classification only, as long as such storage complies with Section 4,6,8,G., as outlined below. 3.) ZO Article 4.6.8., Section G.2.c. – General Commercial Development Standards – Outdoor Storage – Location and Screening of Outdoor Storage. C). If located within 100 feet of any property line or right-of-way, all outdoor storage areas shall be treated similarly to a VUA, and shall be landscaped in accordance with Section 4.6.8.D.3 of the ordinance. If located adjacent to an incompatible use, subsection d. below shall substitute for this requirement.
