Gene Harmon is a Bowling Green Attorney. He represented the City of Bowling Green for thirty(30) years, and thirteen(13) years as the in-house attorney for the City, retiring from that position in 2020

Gene grew up in the small northern Kentucky town of Bedford. After high school, he came to Bowling Green to attend Western Kentucky University. He holds a B.S. Degree in Public Administration from WKU(1975), a Masters Degree in Public Administration from WKU (1977) and a law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law(1988).

While Practicing law, he also served as the Adjunct Professor in the WKU Paralegal Program teaching classes in business organizations, contract law, and debtor-creditor relationships. He is married to Susan and has two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his four (4) granddaughters, assisting Bowling Green Special Olympics during basketball and softball seasons, and traveling.
