Code Description:
Requirements for the design, maintenance, and a menu of Best Management Practices (BMPs) are located in the City of Bowling Green Stormwater BMP Manual. Site construction in the City shall comply with the provisions of the BMP Manual. https://www.bgky.org/stormwater/bmp A Certified EPSC Contractor is required. EPSC BMPs must be installed to prevent migration of sediment from the site to roads, inlets, streets, neighboring properties, drainage ROWs, sinkholes. Weekly inspections and maintenance of BMPs are required. Proper documentation of inspections/maintenance performed must be available upon request. BMPs are required until the site is fully stabilized w/ 80% vegetative cover over the entire site. Any materials that migrate or are carried into the street must be removed immediately or by the end of the day.
