The Operations Division provides the following services to the City of Bowling Green:

  • Public Rights-of-Way (ROW) Maintenance Including
    • Rural roadway mowing
    • Alley cleaning
    • Dead animal removal
    • Dead tree removal
    • Surface repair to public alleys
    • Rubbish/debris removal
  • Drainage/Stormwater Systems
    • Maintenance
    • Improvements & Extensions
  • Vehicular, Cycling, and Pedestrian Traffic Control Devices Management
  • Sidewalks and other pedestrian transportation systems
    • Maintenance
    • Improvements & Extensions
  • Leaf Removal
  • Snow Removal

The division also provides labor and equipment for a variety of community service functions, including holiday decorations in the downtown area, civic events such as the International Festival, First Night, and the Christmas Parade.
