Take some time this week to get out among the trees and appreciate all they do for us. Here’s a list of places to go and things to do to get you started:
Children’s Story-Hour
Children’s Story-Hour. Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 1680 Campbell Lane, will celebrate BG Tree Week on Saturday, October 7, by featuring tree-related books at their 1:30 Story Hour. The books will be read in front of the giant painting of the 100 Acre Wood, where cookies will also be served.

Jackson's Orchard
In celebrating BG Tree Week, during that time of October 6-15, Jacksons Orchard is offering a 10% discount on the purchase of any of our available peach or apple trees, for you to plant at your home.
