Climate Pollution Suggestion
Please use the form below to submit an idea to reduce climate pollution (greenhouse gas emissions). We are seeking your input for both the plan development stage as well as the later implementation of the plan. The Climate Pollution Reduction Grant planning grant funds are restricted to projects directly related to the development, updating, or evaluation of state and local plans to reduce climate pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and/or enhance carbon sinks.
By utilizing this money, the metropolitan Bowling Green area can create new jobs, provide cleaner resources, and develop programs to build sustainable work and educational experiences. Examples include:
- monitoring the waste from factories
- cleaning up river ways
- promoting bike transportation or electric vehicles
- building paths for increased foot traffic
- services our local governments could offer
- and developing access to clean energy production.
