BGCAN returns to the Neighborhood & Community Services building with its Fall Rally of the Neighborhoods on Thursday, September 28 at 707 E. Main Avenue.
BGCAN returns to the Neighborhood & Community Services building with its Fall Rally of the Neighborhoods on Thursday, September 28 at 707 E. Main Avenue. The evening will begin with food and a networking hour starting at 5:30 p.m. with various elected and appointed city officials. The program agenda will start at 6:30 p.m. in the community room on the lower level.
The program will include a summary of neighborhood program changes that have taken place since the COVID-19 pandemic and tornado recovery disrupted BGCAN's regular meeting schedule before returning for its relaunch earlier this year.
BGCAN is:
A networking coalition of neighbors and neighborhood organizations in Bowling Green, KY organized for the purposes of:
~providing a centralized forum for sharing of methods for neighborhood improvement
~educating neighborhoods regarding Bowling Green resources
~providing a collective voice for action in addressing community wide neighborhood problems
~acting as a liaison with Bowling Green city government
BGCAN first launched in February 2001 and with the support of its board members over the years has helped to shape neighborhood programming and inform decision-making that continues to enhance our neighborhoods today.
