Strategic Neighborhood Grant Funds Fall Cycle now Open
This fiscal year's 2027 grant cycle will make $60,000 in funds available to projects for neighborhood initiatives, funds will divided into two equal cycles for Fall and Spring neighborhood projects.  Applications are now being accepted through August 1, 2026 for neighbors to submit request for Fall projects.
 
Formerly known as Flexible Neighborhood Grant, which had been initially launched in 1999 as the Select Neighborhood Action Program, is now being renamed the Strategic Neighborhood Grant Funds.

How to apply for funds:
  1. There are many ways to apply for the Strategic Neighborhood Grant Funds. Choose your preferred method and get started today:
  2. Applications are available online via:  https://www.bgky.org/neighborhoods/grant
  3. Complete applications three ways:  (1) online fillable form, (2) fillable and downloadable PDF, or (3) print paper form available at our offices.
  4. Submit your completed application via email at neighborhoods@bgky.org or drop off at Neighborhood and Community Services located at 707 E. Main Avenue in the lower level reception area, Monday through Friday from 8 am - 4 pm
