2025 Fairview Cemetery Annual Cleanup

Honoring the Life and Legacy of Former Mayor Patsy Sloan

Summary: Former Bowling Green Mayor Patsy T. Sloan, 85, passed away Tuesday at the Colonial Center. A pioneering figure for women in local politics, she served on the City Commission from 1978 to 1987 and became the city’s first female mayor, holding office from 1988 to 1991.
