Traffic Impact Downtown for MLK Jr. Day March

Traffic impacts are expected mid-morning on Monday, January 16 for the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day March from the Justice Center to State Street Baptist Church. Impacted intersections are expected to close by 9:15 a.m.

Traffic impacts are expected mid-morning on Monday, January 16 for the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day March from the Justice Center on Center Street to State Street Baptist Church. Impacted intersections, especially those on or approaching State Street between E. 10th Avenue to 340 State Street are expected to close by 9:15 a.m.

The annual march to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. is planned by our loca Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Planning Committee and will begin from the Warren County Justice Center located at E. 10th Avenue and Center Street at 9:30 a.m. The route travels along E. 10th Avenue and crosses College Street, then continues left on State Street and ends at State Street Baptist Church at 340 State Street.

Traffic impact should end no later than 11:00 a.m. 

All non-emergency offices of the City of Bowling Green are closed Monday in observance of the federal holiday.
