New 2025 Fall Pickleball League Registration

Bowling Green Earns National Award for Financial Excellence for 19th Consecutive Year

Summary: For the 19th year in a row, the City of Bowling Green has earned national recognition for financial transparency and excellence from the Government Finance Officers Association. Only 11 cities in all of Kentucky received this prestigious award in 2023 and Bowling Green was one of them.
2025 Learn to Swim Registration

Summary: Registration for the Learn to Swim Program will be held July 1, 2 & 3 from 9 am-11:00 am and 4 pm-6 pm at Russell Sims Aquatic Center. Participants must be dressed to get in the pool at the time of registration for a skills assessment test.
NCS Revamps Neighborhood Grant Program

Summary: Big changes are coming to Bowling Green’s neighborhood grant program—now called Strategic Neighborhood Grant Funds—with $60,000 available for community-driven projects in 2026. Applications for Fall funding are open now through August 1, so rally your neighbors and bring your ideas to life.
Duncan Hines Days 2025 Recap

City of Bowling Green to Celebrate Largest Academy for New Americans Graduating Class

Disaster Recovery Center Opens in Warren County

Summary: A Disaster Recovery Center has opened in Warren County at Michael O. Buchanon Park to assist Kentucky residents affected by the April storms with applying for FEMA aid and accessing recovery resources. Survivors can visit the center without an appointment before the June 25 deadline.
