The staff and volunteers of Riverview at Hobson Grove invite you to our Etiquette Camp, to be held this summer. Our experts will teach your children the basics of introductions, table manners, telephone etiquette, good sportsmanship, and general social skills. The course will conclude with a graduation meal where students will practice what they have learned.
Riverview at Hobson Grove’s 2019 Timeless Manners Camp will take place June 11 - 14, 10am-noon, and the graduation meal will take place on the final day. The class is open to children ages 7 - 10 and is $100 per student. Space is limited. Call 270-843-5565 to reserve your spot.
Historic Riverview at Hobson Grove is available for use by the community for various purposes as approved by the Hobson House Commission. However, the mission of Riverview as an historic museum, seeking to preserve the property and educate visitors about the Victorian era and lifestyle, shall always be the first priority. Appropriate rental functions may consist of weddings, receptions, teas, picnics, wedding or baby showers, birthday or anniversary celebrations and professional photography sittings.
Indoor functions are limited to the public areas in the basement. No food is allowed on the upper floors of the House. Guests will only be allowed upstairs as part of a tour accompanied by a docent or the Director. Outdoor events should always be planned with an alternate location in case of inclement weather.
