Neighborhood University Session "Building Community in BG: An Introduction" Fulfills Training Requirement for SNAP Grants

The 2019 Neighborhood University sessions kick off with "Building Community in BG: An Introduction" at Neighborhood & Community Services on Monday night, May 20.
The 2019 Select Neighborhood Action Program (SNAP) Grant cycle is officially underway with the first Neighborhood University session taking place on Monday night, May 20 at Neighborhood & Community Services. The free session, entitled "Building Community in BG: An Introduction" will be held in the NCS Community Room at 707 E. Main Avenue from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Registration is encouraged to reserve your spot by emailing email@example.com.
Whether you want to meet your nearest neighbors or plug into the rich civic tradition that makes up our Bowling Green community, this session will offer encouragement and practical tips on how to get started. This session is one of several options that fulfill the training requirement for SNAP Grant eligibility.
SNAP is a mini-grant program for neighborhood organizations located within the city limits of Bowling Green. Anyone in the community, regardless of residency, is invited to participate in the training session.
