The City of Bowling Green developed a 5-year Consolidated Plan that will guide the City’s use of Federal funding made available through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement Program. The plan identifies priority needs and how CDBG funding will be used to address those needs.

Copies of the Consolidated Plan are available for review on April 1, 2019, during regular business hours at the Neighborhood and Community Services Department, 707 E. Main Ave., Bowling Green, KY, 42101, and posted on the City’s website at www.bgky.org.       

The City of Bowling Green will receive comments on the Consolidated Plan through April 30, 2019.  Comments should be directed by mail to the Neighborhood and Community Services Department, Attention: Nick Cook, P.O. Box 430, Bowling Green KY 42102-0430, or e-mail to NCS.Info@bgky.org, or by fax to (270) 393-3168.

The City of Bowling Green will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Commission Chambers at 1001 College Street, Bowling Green.  The purpose of the hearing will be to: (1) Review the findings and recommendations in the Consolidated Plan and to obtain public comment regarding the Consolidated Plan; (2) Obtain citizen views on housing and community development needs in Bowling Green for the Annual Action Plan.
