BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – High winds earlier this month downed trees and power lines throughout Bowling Green and Warren County.
On March 20, City crews will begin pick up of residential, vegetation storm debris within the city limits.
All debris needs to be placed in or very near the rights of way. Crews will pick up everything from small broken branches to large tree trunks and root balls.
Just like leaf pickup in the fall, crews will pickup debris by leaf zones beginning with Zone 1 March 20 and working through the entire city until all zones are complete.
If you pay a contractor to cut your trees and limbs, the contractor is responsible for removing that debris such large limbs, tree trunks, root balls and other vegetation.
You do not need to call the City to get on a pick up list.
