Celebrate Safe Communities Event Kits Available for Free to Neighborhood Groups

The City of Bowling Green's Neighborhood & Community Services Department is providing free event kits to neighbors who host a neighborhood social event in October for Celebrate Safe Communities Month.

The City of Bowling Green Neighborhood Services Office is again making free event kits available to neighbors who host a neighborhood social event during the month of October. Part of the City's annual Celebrate Safe Communities initiative, the event kits will include items like name tags, balloons, a small VISA gift card, and lots of crime prevention information. Neighborhood groups are encouraged to register their event by September 15.  These are available on a first come, first served basis to neighborhoods within the city limits of Bowling Green. You must register your event to qualify.

For more information, check the Neighborhood Watch page on the City's website:  http://www2.bgky.org/neighborhoods/watch.php
