Campus Edge Apartments Fatal Fire

Summary: The investigation into the deadly fire at Campus Edge Apartments, 320 Old Morgantown Road, has been concluded and the state medical examiner's office preliminary autopsy results have been released.

More Than $17,000 Awarded To the City of BG Fire Department

City of BG to hold Online Auction

Over 50 Citizen's Academy Set For March, Now Accepting Applications

Summary: Applications are being accepted through Feb. 15 for the next Over 50 Citizen's Academy class, which will take place weekdays March 3-9, 2016. The academy does not meet over the weekend.

2016 Citizen Police Academy

Summary: The 2016 Bowling Green Police Department Citizen Police Academy (CPA) is now accepting applications. This 11 week course begins March 3rd and provides an opportunity to learn first-hand about police operations.

Lehman Avenue Closure

City of Bowling Green to Cut Ribbon on New City Care Center

Bowling Green Receives Budget Award

Summary: The City of Bowling Green recently received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the FY16 budget from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA). This is the fourth consecutive year that the City has received this award.

Biddy Ball Basketball Registration

Summary: Not old enough or big enough to play? This league is just for you. Youth ages 3-5 years old can learn the basic fundamentals of basketball and have fun playing weekly games against each other. Teams will fill up fast, 10 children per team. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited (80).

Dec. 3 Banquet to Honor Neighborhood Successes, Volunteers

NCS Receives High Performer Status

Railroad Crossing Closure

Summary: The railroad crossings at Tobacco Rd. and Memphis Junction Rd. will be closed for maintenance work from November 10th – November 12th. Motorists will need to access Memphis Junction Rd. from Russellville Rd. during this period.

Sidewalk Repairs at Fountain Square Park

Summary: Repairs will begin on Monday, November 9th for a section of sidewalk at Fountain Square Park on the College Street side due to a trip hazard. The repairs should be completed within a week weather permitting.

Bowling Green Code Inspector receives AACE Code Enforcement Officer of the Year Award

Summary: The City of Bowling Green is proud to recognize Mr. Tim Butts who was awarded Code Enforcement Officer of the year by the American Association of Code Enforcement (AACE) at their annual Conference held in Orlando, Florida October 26-30, 2015. This marks the second time a Bowling Green Code Enforcement officer has won this award, David Herrman 2007
