2015 Foot Golf Doubles Cup

Railroad Crossing Closure

Summary: The railroad crossings at Tobacco Rd. and Memphis Junction Rd. will be closed for maintenance work from November 10th – November 12th. Motorists will need to access Memphis Junction Rd. from Russellville Rd. during this period.

Sidewalk Repairs at Fountain Square Park

Summary: Repairs will begin on Monday, November 9th for a section of sidewalk at Fountain Square Park on the College Street side due to a trip hazard. The repairs should be completed within a week weather permitting.

Bowling Green Code Inspector receives AACE Code Enforcement Officer of the Year Award

Summary: The City of Bowling Green is proud to recognize Mr. Tim Butts who was awarded Code Enforcement Officer of the year by the American Association of Code Enforcement (AACE) at their annual Conference held in Orlando, Florida October 26-30, 2015. This marks the second time a Bowling Green Code Enforcement officer has won this award, David Herrman 2007

NCS Building Receives Project of the Year

Pickleball Expo

Thursday's BGCAN Fall Rally to Celebrate Safe Communities

2015 Veterans Day Parade

The City to launch Academy for New Americans in 2016

Summary: The City of Bowling Green is accepting applications to its inaugural Academy for New Americans, to be launched in February 2016. The first ever in the State of Kentucky, the Academy of New Americans follows national efforts to support the linguistic, economic, and civic integration of immigrants and refugees.

Mizpah Road Access Closure

Summary: Access to Mizpah Road at US68/KY80 will be closed effective immediately. Mizaph Road runs between US31W and US68/KY80. The access at US31W will remain open and an additional access will be created in the future.

Veterans Day Parade Registration Ongoing

Summary: The City of Bowling Green–Warren County Veterans Day Parade will take place Saturday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. and is expected to feature hundreds of units honoring past, present and future troops of all military branches.

Master Plan Public Meeting

XIII Powerlifting Competition

Summary: The 13th annual Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Powerlifting Competition will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Weigh-in starts at 8:30 am and the competition will start at 9 am. The competition will feature Bench, Deadlift, and Squat.

Coats for Kids 2015

Mimosa Alley Closure
