Update Bowling Green - Lifeguard Certification

In today’s edition of Update Bowling Green, we’ll discuss lifeguard certification classes offered by Parks and Recreation. There is still time to register for Lifeguard Certification Classes! Visit today to register. Participants will be certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Professional Rescue. Participants must be -15 years old by the last day of class -Must be able to swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl and breaststroke -Must tread water for 2 minutes using only legs and - Must be able to swim 20 yards, retrieve a 10 pound object 10 feet deep and swim 20 yards back to the starting point and exit within 1 minute and 40 seconds.
