Arbor Day 2019

The City of Bowling Green’s annual Arbor Day celebration will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019. This event will take place at Kereiakes Park on Cemetery Road from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Arbor Day is FREE and open to the public.

The City of Bowling Green’s annual Arbor Day celebration will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019.  This event will take place at Kereiakes Park on Cemetery Road from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Arbor Day is FREE and open to the public.

This year’s event will offer free trees, tree planting demonstrations, an inflatable for kids, stormwater information, and a reading of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax at 10 a.m. Sugar Maple, Green Giant Arborvitae, Paw Paw, Redbud and Catalpa trees, will be given away. There will be 1,500 saplings available on a first come, first served basis.

In addition, Bowling Green has been designated as a Tree City USA for the 25th consecutive year by the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of its commitment to effective urban forest management.

This event is brought to you by the Bowling Green Tree Advisory Board and the City of Bowling Green.
