Fountain Row entertainment destination center now operating daily

The day is finally here! Effective Sunday, March 5, Fountain Row operating days will be 7 days a week. The operating hours will remain 11am-9pm.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--March 1, 2023 -- Effective Sunday, March 5, Fountain Row operating days will be 7 days a week. The operating hours will remain 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

In January, the Downtown Development Division hosted BGPD Chief Michael Delaney and Officer Brian Harrell at its monthly Downtown Meet Up conversation with downtown stakeholders. Police reviewed the first six months of Fountain Row activity since its July 2022 launch. There was no significant impact on calls or incidents in the Fountain Row area during the active days and times. Participating restaurants and bars in Fountain Row requested the expansion of operating days because the entertainment destination center opportunity provides another boost to their businesses and follows the public safety recommendation from police.

New Fountain Row info signs with updated operating days are being installed by Public Works throughout the Fountain Row area this week.

The Fountain Row website has an updated video and instructions: bgky.org/fountainrow.

If you're looking for places to shop, eat, and drink in Downtown BGKY, we just posted an updated Fountain Square Shop & Dine Guide on our Downtown Development site. We also offer a map showcasing over 1,000 free public parking spots in the Downtown BGKY area.

This is the next phase in Downtown BGKY destination development. The City is excited to continue working with downtown stakeholders and community partners to cultivate a thriving scene.
