City builds bridge connecting River Front Park East with River Front Park West

Summary: Anyone walking or biking through Weldon Peete Park are asked to utilize caution within the park, as construction has begun on a pedestrian connection between River Front Park East with River Front Park West.

New sidewalks to provide safe passage for pedestrians

Summary: Beginning Tuesday, Johnson Drive from Old Morgantown Road to Gary Avenue and Dennis Way from Johnson Drive to the 500 block of Dennis Way will be closed to through traffic until further notice while the city works to install new sidewalks.

Friday Night Events Impact Traffic Downtown and Near Campus

Board of Commissioners proclaim October 4 as TEN-4 Awareness Day

Summary: The Bowling Green City Commission and the Warren County fiscal Court proclaimed today TEN-4 Awareness Day. Research from pediatricians has led to a rule called TEN-4 Bruising Rule that says that any bruising before a child is cruising are significant red flags for child abuse.

Main Avenue to close temporarily for sidewalk project

North Lee Drive Sidewalk Construction

ICAC to host “meet & greet” with City’s Elected Officials

New Lights Installed on Ken Bale Blvd

Summary: The new traffic lights at Ken Bale Blvd. and Nell O'Bryan Ct. will go live on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in the late morning. Contractors are finishing work on striping stop bars, arrows and pedestrian crosswalks today. Please use caution in this area.

Fairview Cemetery Paving
May 21, 2021
Summary: The ongoing paving project at Fairview Cemetery #2 is nearing completion . The access road next to the Cemetery Administration Building and several off-shoots from that road are being paved. Paving will take place Friday, May 21 with intermittent road closures.
