Two City of Bowling Green officials have earned Level II Certification in Excellence in City Governance from the Kentucky League of Cities.
City Commissioner Carlos Bailey and Occupational License Manager David Lyne completed 60 hours of approved courses through the City Officials Training Center, KLC’s voluntary continuing education program for local government officials.
Bailey has served on the Bowling Green Board of Commissioners since 2021, bringing his experience and perspective to the work of serving the community.
Lyne has been part of the City of Bowling Green team since 1979, bringing more than four decades of institutional knowledge and public service to his role.
The Level II certification recognizes their commitment to continuing education and to strengthening their knowledge of local government and public service.
