BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Downtown Bowling Green recently welcomed two new public art installations that celebrate the community's identity, history, and connection to the region.
The sculptures were unveiled during separate ceremonies and now serve as new landmarks within Downtown BGKY.
One of the newest additions is a water droplet sculpture representing the water and sewer services provided by Bowling Green Municipal Utilities (BGMU). The installation recognizes the essential infrastructure that supports the community while highlighting the role BGMU plays in serving residents and businesses throughout Bowling Green.
Also recently unveiled was Home Is Where My Heart Is, a sculpture dedicated to the people of Bowling Green. The artwork reflects the pride, connection, and sense of place that continue to shape the community and its future.
The installations are part of ongoing efforts to enhance Downtown BGKY through public art and placemaking initiatives. Public art helps create memorable experiences for residents and visitors while contributing to the character and vibrancy of downtown.
Community members are encouraged to explore downtown, view the new sculptures, and discover the growing collection of public art throughout the district.
