BG Strong Build at Durbin Estates

Our neighborhoods are strong and recovering from the devastation of the December 11, 2021 tornadoes. NCS Partner Habitat for Humanity of BG/WC is embarking on a historic BG Strong Build with the unprecedented goal of construction 10 homes in 10 weeks!

Help Build Hope will be in town to lead our community in building the walls for 6 Townhomes for Habitat for Humanity. Learn more to see how you can help:

July 15
Help cut the wood for the walls of 6 Townhomes. We will need volunteers comfortable with saws and others who are able to lift and carry cut wood. This event will be at First Christian Church from 10 am to 6 pm. Lunch and snacks will be served. There is a need for 75 volunteers on this day.

July 16—Ages 5 and Up
Habitat for Humanity is partnering with Help Build Hope mission group to build walls for six of the 10 Townhomes. We will be joining volunteers from The Presbyterian Church, First Christian Church, Christ Episcopal Church, and civic groups to complete the task. All are welcome to attend so invite your friends, family, and co-workers.
We are looking at 600 volunteers on this day!

July 25-29: BLITZ WEEK
