Code Description:
A stop work order shall be in writing and shall be given to the owner of the property, to the owner's agent, or to the person doing the work. Upon issuance of a stop work order, the cited work shall immediately cease. The stop work order shall state the reason for the order and the conditions under which the cited work is authorized to resume. Construction, demolition, renovation, etc. is taking place at this location without required permits on file. ALL WORK MUST STOP. Apply for and obtain all required permits through the City's Building Division. This is the 2nd Stop Work Order issued for working without permits at this location. The property owner has been made aware of the need for permits, submitting proper plans, and having approval from the City before working at this location.
