Neighborhood Services

The Neighborhood Services Division works closely with all City departments to help coordinate City services on the neighborhood level.  The division administers the Select Neighborhood Action Program (SNAP), a grant program that provides local funding to neighborhood groups for neighborhood improvement projects. In addition, the Neighborhood Services Division includes the City's International Communities Liaison office, which works with Bowling Green's diverse international communities and City departments to expand language access and build working relationships between these communities and the City. The division also helps organize neighbors, offers training, facilitates meetings, and works with neighborhood watch groups, homeowners associations, resident councils, and neighborhood associations to resolve problems on the neighborhood level.
