Board of Commissioners
The City of Bowling Green Board of Commissioners is made up of four commissioners, elected at large, and a mayor, who serves as chairman of the Board. Regular Board meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Commission Chamber, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 1001 College St. An elevator in the first floor rear entrance foyer provides handicapped accessibility. All meetings are televised live on Government Access Cable Channel 4 and streamed live on the internet through the City website. Meetings are rebroadcast on Channel 4 and streamed on the internet at various times during the same week the meeting took place. In addition, videos of past Board meetings are accessible from the City website as well as www.youtube.com/cityofbgky. Copies of the meeting agendas and minutes are also available on the City website.

All meetings are open to the public. Citizens may address the Board of Commissioners during a "public comments" section of the agenda of each regular meeting. Agendas for all regular meetings are posted on the City website the Friday before each meeting and/or work session. Citizens are encouraged to review the agenda and contact the members of the Board of Commissioners to express concerns or support with any topic.
