Fall is often a time of great weather, beautiful colors, clear skies and most importantly, gatherings with friends and families. While many things in 2020 look different due to COVID-19 and restrictions put on crowds and groups, the City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is working to bring folks together for fall fun in a new way.

Saturday, November 14, 2020 will mark the first Drive-Thru Fall festival located at Preston Miller Park. This event is free and open to the public and no registration is required. The festival is designed to offer COVID friendly activities where families can participate either from inside or directly outside of their vehicles.

In addition, Preston Miller Park will have festive decorations placed throughout to make the drive more enjoyable. While driving through you can expect family-friendly trivia as well as fun conversation starters. WOVO 106.3 will be live at the festival allowing folks to tune in on their radios to information and fall music.

Bring the whole family out for 10 activities set up for everyone to complete. Activity examples include PCV pipe car ski-ball, car plinko, and a gone fishing game. Hay bale displays will be set up throughout the park, a kettle corn drive through will be available, and Parks and Recreation will have goody bags ready to give out when you first enter the park!

Masks are recommended and fun is required.
