Each year in December, City Hall opens its doors to the residents of Bowling Green and Warren County during our annual Christmas Open House. This year will be no exception as we will welcome guests on Friday, December 6th, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The City will again partner with the The District and multiple Downtown Businesses to combine the City Hall Christmas Open House and the Downtown Lights Up Event.

Expect a few changes again this year as part of our open house will take place in a large tent outside of City Hall. The City will provide delicious appetizers from Cambridge Market, a free keepsake ornament to the first 500 visitors, free 2019/2020 Annual Report and Calendars and free Carriage Rides from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. courtesy of US Bank

In addition to holiday cheer, ornaments and great food, we will have special visitors from the North Pole and the City of Arendelle (think Disney), a reading of ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas’, a holiday photo booth, a giant snow globe, BG Gov To Go and so much more.

Oh – and did we mention FREE carriage rides?

After you have toured City Hall, grabbed a bite to eat, ridden in a horse drawn carriage, and picked up your holiday gifts, make sure to head down to Fountain Square Park where we will be officially lighting the Square just before 6 p.m.!

Be sure to join us downtown for Holiday Cheer!
