Bowling Green has great performing and visual arts that will stimulate your spirit. We have theaters such as the Capital Arts Center which hosts a variety of theatrical productions as well as multiple art galleries. We also have the Fountain Square Players which are located downtown and are very active in the theatrical and musical productions. For all ages there is also the Public Theatre of Kentucky, which hosts events and productions suited for everyone.We also have the Bowling Green and Southern Kentucky Orchestras which play frequently and play many of special events. Bowling Green has 5 museums and many more in the surrounding area that you can visit. Summer loving had me a blast.
During the Summer we have the Preston Miller Water Park up and running, with water slides, rain forest, olympic size pool area, and other water play areas built for your enjoyment.During the months of July and August the downtown area of Bowling Green is filled with food and music. There is bands scheduled weekly, along with food, and play areas for the kids.
Beech Bend opens up it's amusement park, water park, campgrounds, and race track to a host of thousands of events. Not just opened during the summer they offer races and car shows for hot rods, mustangs, corvettes, and other genre to fit everyones likings.

Bowling Green has an excellent parks and recreation program.We have 28 parks in Bowling Green not including the Warren County parks. If your in the mood for excersise or just strolling around we have parks to meet your needs. Major golf courses public or private there is plenty to chose from and never get bored. Bowling Green has 4 distinct dic golf courses with 18 holes and 3 county courses with 18 holes.We have volleyball, basketball, baseball, a huge soccer complex, tennis, and much much more. City leagues and private leagues meet if your interested in joining. We have recreation centers complete with child care.
If you like skate boarding, rollerblading, or BMX riding we have a huge skate park complete with intermediate, experienced, and advanced sections for everyone of different skill levels can enjoy.
