SUMMER STROLL ON PATTON WAY MONDAY NIGHT

BOWLING GREEN, KY– The Board of Commissioners will continue their
annual Summer Stroll series with a walk on Patton Way Monday night,
August 5.  Patton Way is located off of Nashville Road, just down from
the Penn Station and Kroger Shopping Centers near Nashville Road and
Campbell Lane. Walkers will meet at 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of
Patton Way and Jefferson Court, which was formerly known as Navajo
before its connection with Shawnee Estates subdivision was closed a few
years ago.

The start location is also across Patton Way from Campus Pointe
Apartments.  Monday night's stroll will give attendees the opportunity
to talk one on one with officials and point out the neighborhood's
opportunities, accomplishments, and concerns.  The Stroll will also
include visits at Lorie Village and Daystar Village Apartments.

The final Summer Stroll of the season is scheduled for Monday, August 19
at Covington Woods Park and will be hosted by Covington neighbors.

While a quorum of the Board of Commissioners may be present at tonight's
Stroll, no formal action will be taken.   For more information about
other neighborhood programming, call the City's Neighborhood Services
Office at 393-3674.
