SUMMER STROLL STARTS AT NEW DISHMAN MCGINNIS SCHOOL SITE MONDAY
NIGHT

BOWLING GREEN, KY– Using their second rain date of the season,
the Board of Commissioners will continue their annual Summer Stroll
series with a walk in the West End neighborhood Monday night, July
29.  Walkers will meet at 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Glen Lily
and Durbin Drive, just down the street from the construction site for
the new Dishman McGinnis Elementary School.  This Stroll was
rescheduled due to inclement weather on July 1.

Monday night's stroll will be hosted by members of the West End
Neighborhood Association, and the event will give attendees the
opportunity to talk one on one with officials and point out the
neighborhood's opportunities, accomplishments, and concerns.

Following Monday, the next Summer Stroll is scheduled for Monday, August
5 on Patton Way in Bowling Green.  The last Summer Stroll of the season
will take place on Monday, August 19 at Covington Woods Park.  Both
Strolls start at 7:00 p.m.

While a quorum of the Board of Commissioners may be present at tonight's
Stroll, no formal action will be taken.   For more information about
other neighborhood programming, call the City's Neighborhood Services
Office at 393-3674.
