TRAFFIC SIGNAL CHANGE PENDING FOR SMALLHOUSE ROAD

BOWLING GREEN, KY-- Beginning today, the new traffic signal at Cave
Mill Rd and Smallhouse Rd will flash yellow and red to make motorists
aware of an upcoming traffic change.

Smallhouse Rd north of Massey Springs Assisted Living will be closed on
Saturday morning, November 17 from 7:00-10:00 am in order to tie the
new road into the existing and to continue paving operations. Access to
Massey Springs will be provided.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, traffic will be moved onto the new
Smallhouse Road, and the relocated signal will be functional no later
than noon on Saturday.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible as delays are
expected. Signage will be in place to detour traffic.

This project is a joint private-public partnership between Smallhouse
Partners, Inc., Warren County Public Works, and the City of Bowling
Green.  For more information about the project, call Warren County
Public Works at 843-6360 or check the Smallhouse Road Project
Realignment page on the City's website at www.bgky.org
