EXCAVATION WORK CONTINUES TONIGHT AT CAVE MILL AND SMALLHOUSE ROAD
BOWLING GREEN, KY-- Excavation will continue tonight at the
intersection of Cave Mill Road and Smallhouse Road (South). Motorists
should be on the look-out for lane closures relating to select tree
trimming on Cave Mill Road across from the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints. Curb and gutter installation has been re-scheduled
for Thursday and Friday night, weather permitting.
In an effort to minimize traffic delays and to limit the amount of
additional traffic through the surrounding neighborhoods, the contractor
began Cave Mill Road improvements on Tuesday, August 28th from 10:00
p.m. to 6:00 a.m. This phase of night-time construction is anticipated
to last 2-3 weeks. The contractor has agreed to direct all artificial
lighting downward and away from any residences.
