Field Engineering
The Field Engineering Division provides Professional Land Surveying and other technical services to all City Departments and to City agencies and boards. Division responsibilities include Capital Project construction inspection, and state certified management of three landfills.
This staff of qualified professionals addresses citizens’ drainage, traffic, and environmental concerns. The Field Engineering staff samples groundwater and surface water at the City’s three closed landfills and solid waste facility sites regularly to ensure environmental protection.
