Relay For Life: Casual for the Cure
Civilian Employees
Once again we are raising money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. We are doing something a little different this year, for a $2.00 donation you can wear your jeans to work, for a $3.00 donation you get to wear your jeans and a casual shirt/blouse to work.Each week to dress “Casual For The Cure” will be a different day so that all civilian employees can participate in our efforts to raise money. This fundraiser will start at the end of October and will go until the end of May 2007. For the 2006 Relay event we raised over $200.00 in only 10 weeks with the Jean Day, so imagine how much we can raise in 32 weeks. The BGPD team is proud to be a part of this event and so we “Thank All Of You” for your support in our effortsto raise money for the Cancer Society.
You will need to pay Pam in Records, Marcia in CIU and for dispatchers; you will pay the Dispatch Supervisor on your shift. Your money will need to be paid at the start of each day/shift, once you have paid you will be given a sticker to show that you have made your donation and your stickers need to be worn.
