Homeowner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program
The Housing and Community Development Department administers a Housing Rehabilitation Program which provides funding to low-income homeowners to ensure their homes meet building codes.
- You may qualify for a 0% interest, deferred payment loan if:
- You own and occupy a home located in the Bowling Green Enterprise Community;
- Your home needs repairs; and
- Your total household income does not exceed the following:

The City will..
- Assist you in applying for the program.
- Provide property inspections.
- Provide bid specifications, work write-up and cost estimate for Rehabilitation work
- Provide construction oversight.
- Head of household is elderly or disabled.
- Household has a child under the age of seven.
- Home is located in St. Joseph Redevelopment Area.
- Home is located in Downtown Redevelopment Area.
