Boundaries:This area is bordered by Covington Street and Broadway to the north, Lovers Lane / Barren River and Old Stone to the east, Three Springs Road and Cross Ridge Subdivision to the south and Smallhouse Road and Cabell drive to the west.

Demographics: The area is largely commercial business in nature with residential areas included.

Fire Risk: The typical fire risk is the residential units located within this zone as most commercial structures are protected with sprinkler systems and fire alarm systems. The residential units are typically 1,000 to 4,500 square foot homes of wood frame construction. The multi-family units are typically 8 to 12 unit structures also of wood frame construction.

Non-Fire Risk:
The non-fire risk for this zone is predominately emergency medical calls at 52% of the call volume for this zone. Additionally, this zone typically receives a large volume of injury vehicle accident.

Incident History:Three years of response data indicates the call volume to this zone is 2011 of 8,377 incidents representing approximately 25% of the total call volume. Of the 2011 incidents, 52% were emergency medical calls, 11% were fire incidents and 37% were other calls including service calls, fire alarms and rescue calls.

Water Supply: Water for fire suppression is provided with municipal fire hydrants located approximately 500 feet apart.
