The Chief Financial Officer oversees the Department's operations. This division is responsible for monitoring adopted Financial Policies and for providing both monthly financial information and a multi-year financing plan that fairly depicts the City's financial posture to assist in the development of current and future budgets.
The treasury division is responsible for the collection of all City receipts. Real and Personal Property Taxes and Occupational License Fees are the City's main revenue sources. The CFO provides periodic revenue forecasts to the City Commission and is also responsible for the management of the City's investment portfolio, the issuance of debt, and for the incentive programs offered to new or expanding businesses.
