Board of Ethics
The mission of the Board of Ethics generally is to uphold the highest possible standards of integrity in city government and to aid the officials and employees of Bowling Green in maintaining these standards so that each will conduct himself/herself in a manner that will preserve public confidence in city government and respect for the office/position represented.

Board Members and Titles
Cathye Gumm – Board Member - Project Manager for the Housing Authority of Bowling Green.
Mike Holian – Board Member - Volunteer Chaplain for the Bowling Green Police Department.
Linda Taylor Leigh – Board Member - Co-owner and Office Manager for Select Inc. d/b/a Select Practice Opportunity (physician recruitment firm) and retired City employee.
Dr. Amy Cappiccie – Board Member - assistant professor of the Department of Social Work at Western Kentucky University.
Walter Hawkins – Board Member – attorney, Hawkins Law Office, PSC, handles DUI and other criminal cases, Personal Injury, Employment Law and Family Law cases.
Duties
Investigate complaints, issue orders and advisory opinions, control and maintain financial statements for those required to file, and enforce the city’s Code of Ethics policy for all who fall under its jurisdiction.
Membership
Five members appointed by the Mayor to serve two-year terms.
Meetings
Monthly on the fourth Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in City Hall.
