In 1993, after a search of communities from coast to coast, television producers and writers, Elaine Walker and her husband, Dorian, selected what they knew would be the perfect city in which to raise their young children, Erin and Evan. In the summer of that year, they moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky with the hope of creating a better life for their family. That move has exceeded their expectations, so much so that they have promoted their community and their state on such national television programs as
America’s Castles and Restore America.

Married for 27 years to Dorian Walker, and the mother of two children, daughter, Erin, honors graduate from the University of Chicago, and Associate Producer of
Rock Solid, airing on the DIY Network; and son, Evan, Engineering graduate, Cum Laude, from Vanderbilt University, and Assistant Project Engineer with Turner Construction in Huntsville, Alabama.
Daughter of a World War II decorated Air Force bomber pilot and career military officer, wife of a decorated Vietnam Veteran.
Educated at University of Maryland.
