Bowling Green Parks & Recreation offers a variety of different facilities for use by the public. Shelters are available at Covington Woods, Lampkin, Kereiakes, Roland Bland, and Preston Miller Parks. All shelters are covered and have electrical outlets. To reserve a shelter at any of our City parks (with the exception of Fountain Square Park, The River Walk at Mitch McConnell Park, Circus Square Park, and the Bloch Chapel at Fairview Cemetery), contact the Parks and Recreation office.
Softball/Baseball fields are available at Lampkin and Hobson Grove Parks. Soccer Fields are available at Lovers Lane (and a Futsal Court at Lampkin). Courses for races and cross country events are available at Kereiakes and Preston Miller Parks. Outdoor Volleyball Courts are available at Preston Miller and Lampkin Parks; Indoor Volleyball Courts are available at FO Moxley and Kummer Little Gyms. Tennis Courts are available at Kereiakes Park, with others available for free play at Covington Woods, Lampkin, Roland Bland Parks. Indoor Basketball is available at Kummer Little and Carr Gyms; Outdoor Basketball Courts are available at Covington Woods, Kereiakes Park, Preston Miller, Lampkin, and Parker-Bennett.
Proof of liability insurance or certain fees may be required for use of some facilities.
A minimum of one week's notice is required.
Availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
