The Bowling Green Police Department is investigating a robbery of a local convenience store that occurred on July 5, 2014.

The Bowling Green Police Department is investigating a robbery of a local convenience store.  Police say just after midnight on Saturday July 5th, two men entered th Quick Stop in the 2200 block of Russellville Road and demanded money.  Employees told police two men entered the store yelling “give me the money” while the other man pointed a gun at him.  Both robbers ran behind the counter and took money from the register as the clerk complied with their demands.  The men then left on foot towards the rear of the store.

The men are described as black males one wearing black pants, black shoes, black jacket with gray stripes and light colored gloves with a white bandana over his mouth and nose.  The second male was wearing gray pants, black hooded sweatshirt and black Nike shoes with a white “swoosh” symbol.
